Dulu Mahato

Dhullu Mahato is a politician from Jharkhand, India. He represents the Baghmara (Vidhan Sabha constituency) since the year 2009(margin 19960 votes).[1][2][3] During 2009 to 2014 he represented the constituency as a Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) MLA but during 2014 (margin 29623 votes) to 2019 he is representing the constituency as a Bharatiya Janata Party MLA. In 2019 assembly election, he contested and won( meagre margin 824 votes) on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket.

Dhulu Mahato is believed to control a third of BCCL mines. Powerful in Baghmara and Katras Pockets. Dhulu Mahato was originally in AJSU.

Before Joining JVM Party.He also worked in Samresh Singh Union DCKS (Dhanbad Coal Karamchari Sangh-led by Samresh Singh) where he set up Tiger Force (An organised youth Gang Used to intimidate management, & extortion ). At this time, Dhulu was in AJSU. He then left DCKS and AJSU and Joined JVM Party. He is also believed to have originally been employed by suresh singh to help run his rail business smoothly. As dhulu had good relations with teli OBC and ST groups; dubbed 'localities'.

Alleged In 'Parallel Business' of Transportation (Major Scale).Road & extortion - randari tax. Faction- United Coal Workers Union (UCWU) (AITUC affiliated) (Jharkhand) Party affiliation - JVM (De Facto) Leader's Official - Dhulu Mahato, Baghmara MLA (BJP).UCWU is Dhulu mahato's personal power base. Real Irony is that Dhulu claims to fight against established mafia interests on behalf of workers.[1]
