Forester, Arkansas
Forester is an extinct town in Scott County, in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place.[1]
History[]
Forester was founded in 1930 as a sawmill company town, and named after Charles A. Forrester, a local businessman.[2] A post office called Forester was established in 1930, and remained in operation until 1953.[3] The sawmill closed in 1950s, and the town died.[2]
