Hednota opulentellus is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Zeller in 1863. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Tasmania,[1] New South Wales and Victoria.

The wingspan is about 30 mm. The forewings are brown with silvery white longitudinal stripes. The hindwings are silky and buff.[2]
