Ibn Shuayb

Ibn Shuayb (Arabic: ابن شعيب) or Abu l-`Abbas Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Shuayb al-Kirjani (born in Taza, Morocco, died in Tunis on 1 March 1349) was a Moroccan scholar in medicine, alchemy, botany, astronomy, mathematics, a renowned poet and chancellor of the Marinid sultan Abu al Hassan. He is the author of both prose and poetry.
