Ice Tower Ridge

Ice Tower Ridge (

77°32′S 167°7′E / 77.533°S 167.117°E / -77.533; 167.117Coordinates: 77°32′S 167°7′E / 77.533°S 167.117°E / -77.533; 167.117) is a ridge at about 3,540 metres (11,600 ft) that descends the southwestern slope of the summit crater of Mount Erebus on Ross Island, Antarctica. It is so named because the ridge is defined by a series of fumarolic ice towers.^[1]
