Jastrabie pri Michalovciach (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈjastrabɪe pri ˈmixalɔwtsɪɐx]) is a village and municipality in Michalovce District in the Kosice Region of eastern Slovakia.

History[]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1337.

Geography[]

The village lies at an altitude of 104 metres and covers an area of 5.74 km2 (2.22 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[1]

Ethnicity[]

The population is about 99% Slovak in ethnicity.

Culture[]

The village has a small public library, a football pitch and a food store.
