Jefferson Township is one of thirteen townships in Henry County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,504 and it contained 615 housing units.[1]

Jefferson Township was organized in 1843.[2]

Geography[]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 28.35 square miles (73.4 km2), of which 28.29 square miles (73.3 km2) (or 99.79%) is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 km2) (or 0.21%) is water.[1] The streams of Bethel Brook, Gander Run, Lake Branch and Sulphur Drain run through this township.
