Jessica Margareta Stegrud (born 27 September 1970) is a Swedish politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from Sweden since 2019.[1] She is a member of the Sweden Democrats, part of European Conservatives and Reformists.

Career[]

Stegrud studied economics at the Karlstad University from 1989 to 1991 and at the Gävle University College from 1991 to 1993. She was employed as  [sv] at Sydkraft/EON Sverige AB from 2001 until her election to the European Parliament in 2019.[2] She had not been a member of the Sweden Democrats before her candidacy in the 2019 European Parliament election in Sweden.
