Kalash - Ek Vishwaas[1] is an Indian soap opera that premiered on 23 March 2015 on Life OK. The show was produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Telefilms. The show stars Aparna Dixit and Krip Suri.[2][3] The show is named after Ekta Kapoor's Kalash that aired on Star Plus from 2001 to 2003. The show ended on 17 March 2017.[4]
Reruns of the show also aired on Star Utsav under the title Devika...Ambe Maa Ki Ladli. This show is being re-telecasted on Shemaroo TV from 8 April 2021.
Plot[]
Gentle, Devika Deol is a great devotee of goddess Ambe Maa. Ravi Grewal, a middle-class guy hails from Ambala. Devika is set to have wedlock with the evil Saket Kapoor. Due to some circumstances, Ravi marries and saves her from social humiliation. Manju, Shweta and Saket cause problems in Devika's life. Ravi and Devika begin to love each other. Nivedita Luthra, boss of the prestigious company where Ravi works, falls in love with him. Manju works with Saket and Nivedita to kill Devika by pushing her off a cliff.
Several months later[]
Devika survives the fall and disguises as Ambika Raichand, the daughter of the rich and influential Janki. Ravi is engaged to Nivedita, living in her house. Devika re-enters his life for revenge, thinking he was part of the plan to kill her. She later realises his innocence, and the two start a new life after she settles her score with others. Nivedita and Saket kill Monty, putting the blame on Ravi, but Devika exposes them. The show ends with her pregnancy.
