Kalibrr is an employment website by Philippine company Kalibrr Technology Ventures, Inc. which is based in Makati.

History[]

Kalibrr was launched in 2013. The company behind the platform was founded by Paul Rivera, a former Google employee and Open Access BPO executive, and Dexter Ligot-Gordon, a former US government employee in California.[1][2] Danny Castonguay is also a co-founder of the company established in 2012, but left in 2013.[3] Kalibrr was launched to take advantage of the growth of the Business process outsourcing (BPO) industry in the Philippines. It was funded by Kickstart, a capital venture by Globe Telecom from 2012 to 2013 and also received financial support from Y Combinator, Wavemaker, Omidyar Network and Patamar Capital.[1][2]

Kalibrr partnered with Thai employment platform GetLinks in June 2020 which increased the number of jobseekers on the latter from 1 million to 5 million. The partnership also gave GetLinks access to the Indonesian and Philippine market and expanded its customer base from 10,000 to 25,000 companies.[4]

In 2021, Kalibrr was among the four Philippine companies to be listed in Forbes Asia's "100 to Watch" list.[5]

Features[]

Kalibrr caters to jobseekers based in the Philippines and Indonesia.[5] Jobseekers had to sign up and create an account to be able to use Kalibrr.[6]The platform also devises artificial intelligence (AI).[2][5]
