Kazakh tribes
There are many Kazakh clans, and they form part of three large clans (zhuz (Cyrillic Kazakh: Жүз; Latin Kazakh: Jüz) in Kazakh language means 'hundred'; every clan in ancient times had hundreds of warriors) the main: clans of Kazakhs Elder (Senior) or Great Horde (Ulı Jüz); Middle or Central Horde (Orta Jüz) and Junior (Young) or Lesser Horde (Ki��i Jüz).
- Horde means tribes association for rule state.

According to Kazakh customs, every Kazakh is obliged to know his ancestors up to the 7th generation, that is, to know the genealogy and genealogy of his predecessors.

Kazakh aristocracy (Aqsüyek)[]
These clans are known in the Kazakh language as aqsüyek (Ақсүйек, which literally means "white bone" or aristocrat).

- - retinues of Qağan (king) and most of leaders
- - originally Noğays, included after formation of the Kazakh Khanate state
- Qıyat/Qiyat (Қият/Қыят)
- Sunaq - originally Arabs, they are descendants of Abu Bakr Siddik, the father-in-law of prophet Muhammad PBUH.

Tribalism[]
According to the historian Zh. Sabitov, there is no tribalism in modern Kazakhstan, but there is nepotism. In his opinion, tribalism died with the nomadic society after the Little October.[9]
