Lakestan Rural District (Persian: دهستان لكستان) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Salmas County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran.[1] At the 2006 census, its population was 11,486, in 2,773 families.[2] The rural district has 15 villages.
