Main characters[]

Kokoro Yotsuba (四葉 こころ, Yotsuba Kokoro)
Voiced by: Kaede Hondo[1]

The primary main protagonist of "Himitsu no Cocotama", Kokoro is a 5th grade student who lives in the town of Aozora. She doesn't excel in sports, is often clumsy and is good on the piano. But she is very caring about her belongings after her grandmother teaches her about "all items having a heart and soul". She has a little brother named Makoto and her father works as an architect and designer for a housing company. Kokoro is heavily involved with the Cocotamas after seeing Luckytama for the first time, and is bound to take care of him and the others that she encounters. She builds the Cocotama House, a house made from everyday objects for Luckytama. She also serves as the house's landlord and allows other Cocotamas to live in the Cocotama House under a house rental contract. She is shown to have a crush on Seitarou, somewhat ticklish and hates Bell Peppers as well as having a hard time keeping the secret of the Cocotamas to herself alone. After meeting Nozomi, she tries to be friends with her but failed due to their different point of views about the Cocotamas and her inexperience being a Happy Hunter. Nozomi later admitted that Kokoro can be a potential Happy Hunter if she puts her effort to it. Her wish is to be a more capable girl, and not be a klutz.

Nozomi Sakurai (桜井 のぞみ, Sakurai Nozomi)
Voiced by: Kaori Ishihara

The second human protagonist of "Himitsu no Cocotama" debuting in Episode 26, Nozomi is also a 5th grade student who had made a contract with Vivit, her partner Cocotama. She is very strict, mature and serious, though also focused on things that she does. However Nozomi shows some signs of insecurity and shyness, and somewhat hesitant about what to do even after making a contract with Vivit. Nozomi also does things seriously with her partner, and hunts down Happy Stars by helping out people who had serious problems, especially giving out advice to Kokoro about people's problems. With her first meeting with Kokoro, she was surprised how many Cocotama friends she make and later advising her to be serious about her job on raising her Cocotamas and solving other people's problems. She later toned down her strictness in the later episodes and becomes good friends with Kokoro. It's revealed that her wish is to grow up so she can travel with her parents. Later on in the series, she and Vivit finally left Japan with her parents to America but returned to Japan in later episodes.

Hikari Chono (蝶野 ひかり, Chōno Hikari)
Voiced by: Hibiku Yamamura[2][3]

The third human protagonist of '"Himitsu no Cocotama" debuting in Episode 80, Hikari is a 5th grade student who study at another school. She is very cheerful and playful, sometimes a bit straightforward and humorous. She is also very caring about her friends and gets excited on things despite having priorities. Hikari is also very good in street magic performances, in which she has fast reflexes on her arms in executing tricks. However, when it comes to Cocotamas, she is a bit clueless on how to approach them, even a bit more surprised when her playing cards gave birth to Raichi. As she decided to take care of Raichi prior to Kokoro's request and build him his house, she became friends with Kokoro and the rest of her Cocotama friends. Due to the temporary contract, her contract never have any wishes. Her contract would become normal in later episodes and her wish is to become a professional magician.

Cocotamas[]

Cocotamas are small furry creatures born from regular objects whose owners have taken care of with good love and care. As they are gods, they carry an "Hiding Egg" (かくれたま, Kakuretama), the eggshell they hatched on and uses it to hide from humans when about to be seen. Each Cocotama wears an "Egg Underwear" (たまごパンツ, Tamago Pantsu), a proof of their apprenticeship and were gifted with magic, but they are however inexperienced and sometimes make mistakes. Each Cocotama are also bound to the "Cocotama Contract" (ここたま契約書, Kokotama Keiyakusho) which sometimes serves as their birth certificate after a human chose to take care of them by their approval. Also, the contract has strict rules that applies to both Cocotamas and the human they're bound to. A human who signed a Cocotama's Contact has an indication on the Cocotama's ability to see eggs on the cheeks of the human bound to its contract, and that the human can interact with other Cocotamas without making them sign another Contract of Secrets. However, if a human broke the said agreement, the Cocotama would disappear and go back to the item they're born in and the human contractor would forget they exist, but, Cocotama was reborn again after a time has passed, it will give them another chance as a temporary contract and regain their memories for what at their mistakes to become a real contract. Each contract will have a test to renew their contract; if Cocotama has failed the contract test, the contract will void immediately. For a Cocotama to become a true god, it must do good deeds to humans while unnoticed, which rewards them with a "Happy Star" (ハッピースター, Happīsutā) to level up. If a Cocotama collected enough Happy Stars, he/she will be recognized and become a full-pledged god and must depart to the Cocotama World to watch over the humans.

"Cocotama" is derived from the Japanese words "kokoro", and "tamashii". The concept of the characters is based on the Tsukumogami, real or mythological animals and Kuroko.

Cocotamas Contracted to Kokoro[]

Luckytama (ラキたま, Rakitama)
Voiced by: Megumi Han

The secondary main protagonist of "Himitsu no Cocotama", he is an Orange Cocotama born from Kokoro's Colored pencil that she owned when she was 3, and is referred as the "Colored Pencil God". He is very, curious, happy-go-lucky and cheerful, though he can be mischievous and very stubborn sometimes. He shares a friendly bond with Kokoro after she discovered him for the first time, and is the first Cocotama to have his contract signed. Usually due to being close to her before he was born, he knows about her feelings and secrets. Being an Apprentice God, his magic is based on luck and it's not as refined, often backfires when cast. He can also call forth Amanda through a leaf whistle after she finally reconciled with him and the other Cocotamas. His full title is "Lucky Lucky no Tamakoronosuke-no-Mikoto" (ラキラキのたまころの助のみこと, Raki raki no Tamakoronosuke no Mikoto) and his mark on his pants is a green Four-Leafed Clover.

Melory (メロリー, Merorī)
Voiced by: Aki Toyosaki

The third main protagonist of "Himitsu no Cocotama", she is a Pink Cocotama born from Kokoro's Piano that she played when she was 3, and is referred as the "Piano Goddess". She is a very cheerful mood swinger, very outgoing and friendly but can be easily scared. She also sings out her discussions, often some that expresses her feelings while ending her sentences with "~nano". She looks over Luckytama as her friend and fellow Cocotama, though can sometimes argue. But then settled down and decided to live with him and Kokoro in the Cocotama House under a rental agreement. She is good at singing but somewhat has fear on bugs. Like Luckytama, her magic is not as refined as his, but is based on music. Her full title is "Melo Melo-Rin Hime-no-Mikoto" (メロメロリン姫のみこと, Mero Mero-rin Hime no Mikoto) and her mark on her pants is a magenta heart.

Oshaki (おシャキ, Oshaki)
Voiced by: Yumi Kakazu

Oshaki is a Light Blue Cocotama born from one of the Encyclopedia Books Kokoro's father owns, and is referred as the "Book Goddess". Although very shy, she is quite smart, serious and very knowledgeable, sometimes lecturing the other Cocotamas herself. Despite all of this, she has a big ego and it can overwhelm her sometimes. In her debut, she is stuck inside the eggshell she's born with due to someone accidentally ripping off a page of the book she's born in. It took a while for Kokoro and the others to find out the culprit and repair the book (revealed to be Makoto), which now allow her to come out and interact with the others. She is shown to be bad at singing. Her magic is based on knowledge and with a high chance of success. Her full title is "Ooinaru Shaki-Shaki Shaberi-Nushi-no-Mikoto" (大いなるシャキシャキしゃべり主のみこと, Ōinaru Shaki Shaki Shaberi-nushi no Mikoto) and the mark on her pants is an yellow lightbulb.

Geracho (ゲラ���ョ, Geratcho)
Voiced by: Rikako Aikawa

Geracho is a Green Cocotama born from the Yotsuba's family's flat screen television, and is referred as the "Television God". Though very serious-headed, selfish and often impulsive, he has a knack on jokes which sometimes falls flat or came out unappealing. But also he can be stubborn on things. He is seriously competitive over Luckytama thinking that his jokes are better than him, in reality, Luckytama was very clumsy on his moves and he often laughs on his misfortune. His magic is based on laughter and like Luckytama, usually has low success or can affect everyone nearby. His full title is "Gera-Gera no Tsukkomi-no-Mikoto" (ゲラゲラのツッコミのみこと, Gera Gera no Tsukkomi no Mikoto) and the mark on his pants is a red smiling speech bubble.

Kirarise (キラリス, Kirarisu)
Voiced by: Ryōka Yuzuki

Kirarise is a Mauve Cocotama born from Misato's treasured lipstick given to her by Koichi, and is referred as the "Lipstick Goddess". She is shown to be a very mature female who sometimes admires her own looks, and likes to flirts around with the guys, especially Luckytama and Geracho. While she can be very mean and berates others due to their personalities, she sometimes learns from it often helping them. Kirarise is shown to be good on both fashion and makeovers and that Melory looks up to her while Oshaki usually disagrees due to her overall personality and her way with flirting with the guys. Her magic is related to fashion and sometimes wont succeed unless told the right timing. Her full title is "Kira-Kira no Love-Love no Lipstick-no-Mikoto" (キラキラのラブラブのルップスティックのみこと, Kira Kira no Rabu Rabu no Rippusutikku no Mikoto) and the mark in her pants is a pair of yellow Sparkles.

Mogutan (モグタン)
Voiced by: Michiyo Murase

Mogutan is a large Yellow Cocotama born from a fork that belonged and used by the Yotsuba Family, and is referred as the "Fork God". Though very timid and easy-going, he is very headstrong and also food-driven to the point of actually preferring to eat than doing anything else. He also has a huge appetite and an iron stomach as he can devour the whole Yotsuba Family's food supply in one night and is not affected by Kirarise's charms. He can also sense food from his tail and instinct, in which proven to be a disadvantage to the entire group. Other than that, he is also shown to have a soft spot on everyone and sometimes acts as a chef for the group with his specialty on making desserts, especially Marshmallows. Mogutan's magic is based around on food, with its success rate varies from time to time. His full title is "Mogu Mogu no Pekorita-no-Mikoto" (モグモグのペコリータのみこと, Mogu Mogu no Pekorīta no Mikoto) and the mark on his pants is a purple Chef's Hat.

Sarine (サリーヌ, Sarīnu) and Parine (パリーヌ, Parīnu)
Voiced by: Ayumi Fujimura (Sarine), Yuri Shiratori (Parine)

Appearing in Episode 14, Sarine and Parine are twin Cocotamas both born from the Rinse-in Shampoo Bottle the Yotsubas use and they were referred to as the "Shampoo Gods". Both twins had different personalities, with the female Sarine being the active, optimistic and always happy-go-lucky one and the male Parine being more laid back, timid and remorseful, which makes Sarine to go and motivate him. Also both wins are equally helpful and loving in certain situations including playing with others, but has a tendency to go berserk when they got dirty by mistake. Their magic is related to rejuvenation, as they can use it to rejuvenate people's spirits when taking a bath. Sarine's full title is "Sapari Awa-Awa Arai-no-Mikoto" (さっぱりアワアワあらいのみこと, Sappari Awa Awa Arai no Mikoto) and Parine's full title is "Sapari Shiya-Shiya Arai-no-Mikoto" (さっぱりシヤシヤあらいのみこと, Sappari Shiya Shiya Arai no Mikoto) and the mark on their pants is a light blue water drop, with Sarine having a sparkle in the center while Parine has a heart on the center. Both their names are based on the word "Sappari".

Mishil (ミシル, Mishiru)
Voiced by: Fumiko Orikasa

Appearing in Episode 15, Mishil is a Red Cocotama born from the Yotsuba Family's mailbox and is referred as the "Mail Goddess". She is very shy but also childish in personality as well as being very spoiled and mysterious. Mishil is also very manipulative and likes to sneak around Kokoro's room, usually wanting to live in the Cocotama House and be its Queen. But sometimes she cries a lot when she doesn't get what she want, or got busted. When in disguise, she refers herself as "346" to spy on the group and search for their weaknesses, but is shown to hate Bell Peppers too. But in the end, she redeems herself and wished to live with Luckytama and the others. Her full title is "Miru Miru no Shiru Shiru no Scoop get-no-Mikoto" (ミルミルのシルシルのスクープゲットのみこと, Miru Miru no Shiru Shiru no Sukūpu Getto no Mikoto) and the mark on her pants is a green mail envelope.

Kanna (カンナ, Kan'na)
Voiced by: Saki Fujita

Appearing in Episode 127, Kanna is a blue Cocotama who has ascended and became a true goddess, born from an Clock tower at a park and is referred as the "Clock Goddess". Though she has ascended to live in the Cocotama World, her Adult Pants wasn't received and in an incident, was lost into the human world. Due to this, she uses her old Egg Underpants to search for her own Adult Pants. She is a hardworking girl and very serious about time, notifying everyone about the hour. She also looks down on Apprentice Cocotamas, but later on she realized on how much they persevere on their work in making people happy. Her mark in her pants is a pink alarm clock.

Cocotamas Contracted to Nozomi[]

Vivit (ビビット, Bibitto)
Voiced by: Sayuri Yahagi

Vivit is a female light teal Cocotama born from Nozomi's Locket Pendant, and is referred as the "Locket Goddess". Like Nozomi, she is very serious and mature, but also very strict to Kokoro and her friends regarding their way of handling people's problems. Though being said, she is very close to her human partner and usually serves as her friend and conscience when necessary, acting as her assistant on helping out people. Unlike Luckytama and the others, her magic skills are on a higher degree of mastery, due to her obtaining enough Happy Stars with Nozomi. However, due to her overusing her abilities, she almost disappeared when her Hiding Egg was broken and took the power of her fellow Cocotamas to bring her back. She left alongside Nozomi to America, alongside her parents, though she later came back to Japan alongside her human partner. Her full title is "Vivid Heart-no-Mikoto" (ビビットハートのみこと, Bibitto Hāto no Mikoto) and the mark in her pants is a pink heart with a key in it. Her name is shortened for Vivid Heart.

Renge (レンジ, Renji)
Voiced by: Aya Endō

Renge is a male purple Cocotama born from Nozomi's paintbrush, and is referred as the "Paintbrush God". Being a wandering god like Pinko, Renge is a very calm fellow who usually supports her and their job as wandering salespeople. However, he can be a bit too serious on his work and oftentimes scolds Pinko for her antics. He also hated being called cute or a girl due to his overall look. His magic can be used to sort people and things together, Renge is also shown to be a good artisan and also can create furniture and objects that they sell to other Cocotamas. Later on, he and Pinko were reunited with Nozomi despite not liking them to be with her. However, after she remembered about the two things she owned: a paintbrush and a purse where they originated, she let them stay alongside Vivit. He with Pinko, Nicolie, Vivit and Nozomi left to America, but, he and Pinko cannot understand English and causing both of them are mysterious take Nicolie back to Japan. His mark on his pants is a magenta paintbrush and his name is a pun of the word "Arrange".

Pinko (ピンコ, Pinko)
Voiced by: Yūko Gibu

Pinco is a female orange Cocotama born from Nozomi's money purse, and is referred as the "Purse Goddess". Like Renge, Pinko is also a wandering god who also works as a wandering salesman. She is very cheerful and bright, usually full of enthusiasm in everything including her work. But she can be a bit of a pain to Renge, which is the cause of her getting scolded all the time. Pinko is also an expert on selling things, with her appeal can make anyone buy their products in exchange for a money known as "Sparkles", which she keeps in her purse-like tail. Like Renge, she was reunited with Nozomi and later stayed with her alongside Vivit. She with Renge, Nicolie, Vivit and Nozomi left to America, but, because she and Renge does not understand English, causing both of them and Nicolie to mysteriously return to Japan. Her mark on her pants is an orange shopping bag.

Nicolie (ニコリ, Nikori)
Voiced by: Kaede Hondo

Nicolie is a female light yellow baby Cocotama born from Nozomi's baby towel, and is referred as the "Towel Goddess". Shown to be smaller than the adult Cocotamas, Nicolie is a little baby who is bright and curious, but often cries. She can be a bit of a trouble to Vivit and co. due to her wandering around and that they must take care of her like family. Her magic is related to making people smile, but she uses it only in some occasions. She is also shown to ride an egg-shaped stroller, which she sleeps in it too. She with Renge, Pinko, Vivit and Nozomi left to America, but is unaware that Renge and Pinko has mysteriously took her back to Japan. Her mark in her pants is a yellow-green flower.

Cocotamas Contracted to Hikari[]

Raichi (ライチ, Raichi)
Voiced by: Ayaka Nanase

Raichi is a male sky blue unicorn-like Cocotama born from Hikari's prized Playing cards that she used during her Street Performance, and is referred as the "Card God". Shown to be very childlike despite being adult, he is very innocent, nice and is often clueless on who he is or why he was born. He also has a tendency to be clumsy and often falls, landing to the ground through his horn. Though he is too clueless on what to do, Luckytama and his friends sometimes teach him how to do things right, even signing a contract with Hikari and building him a house. But due to him being born with a temporary contract, his life in the world is short until he finds his own wish with his partner and learns how to be a true god. Luckytama and his friends serve as his mentors. His magic, despite can only be used when he's determined to help, is based on both chance and predicting the future and it can be effective on certain situations. His mark on his pants is a blue clock.

Pikota (ピコタ, Pikota)
Voiced by: Kei Shindō

Pikota is a male emerald green Cocotama born from a Printing press and is referred as the "Printing Press God". Unlike other Cocotamas that appeared, he is more robotic in appearance and has a serious personality despite the appearance. Also, he is a hardworking fellow who can take down notes well and do a perfect impersonation of someone's voice. Pikota also has a winding key on the top on its head on when its removed, he will go berserk. Some things also can be plugged into the screw hole in its head though it makes his personality unstable. He came to the CocoTre House to hone his skills more as an Apprentice God, and left the house later in the series. His full title is "PiPiPi to Copy de Arimasu no Mikoto" (ピピピとコピーでありますのみこと, Pipipi to Kopī de Arimasu no Mikoto) and the mark on his pants is three yellow diamonds.

Chocolancy (ショコランシエ, Shokoranshie)
Voiced by: Ryō Hirohashi

Chocolancy is female reddish magenta Cocotama born from a Randoseru and is referred as the "Randoseru Goddess". Like Picota, Chocolancy came to the CocoTre House to practice her skills as an apprentice god and met with Raichi. She familiarize with him as an Older Brother, much to his dismay and is very determined. Because of her determination, she can challenge anything thrown at her and has exceptional human strength. Her favorite food is Chocolate. She later left the CocoTre House later in the series. Her full title is "Lan Lan no Share Suru Wa no Mikoto" (ランランのシェアするわのみこと, Ranran no Shea Suru wa no Mikoto) and the mark on her pants is a two purple semicircles.

Pocaline (ポカリン, Pokarin)
Voiced by: Yuka Iguchi

Pocaline is a female Orange Cocotama born from a pair of winter Gloves Rin once owned and is referred as the "Glove Goddess". She is a wandering Cocotama who has left her home in the past to travel to places until coming to the town of Aozora, where Kokoro lives. She is very shy and can get easily embarrassed, which can cause herself to get warm in a sauna-like heat, and can melt the snow around her when angry. Her brother, Heaton, is looking for her so she can go back to their home. However, she doesn't like him and their previous home and won't come with him due to Rin not using the gloves anymore. After reconciling with Heaton and learning why Rin stopped using them, she decided to come back home with him. Her full title is "Poca Poca no Attaka Tsutsumi no Mikoto" (ぽかぽかのあったかつつみのみこと, Pokapoka no Attaka Tsutsumi no Mikoto) and the mark on her pants is a light blue sun.

Heaton (ヒートン, Hīton)
Voiced by:

Pocaline's older brother, Heaton is a male Dark Orange Cocotama born from a Winter Scarf that Rin uses and is referred as the "Scarf God". Unlike Pocaline, who wandered off her home, Heaton left the house to search for her so he can bring her back home. He is very calm and also supportive, but also very shy and gentle. Like his sister, he also gets warm when he feels embarrassed. When he first arrived on Aozora, he made a temporary stay in the Noratama Park until he convinced Pocaline to come back home. His full title is "Heat Deata ka Kurumi no Mikoto" (ヒートであったかくるみのみこと, Hīto Deatta ka Kurumi no Mikoto) and the mark on his pants is a green sun.

Straytama Trio[]

The Straytama Trio (ノラたまトリオ, Noratama Torio) are a group of Cocotama who were born from the playground equipment that the kids use to play and an rival of Luckytama and the others. But due to the constant decline of the playground, the trio developed certain hatred towards children and claims the whole playground their own territory. Noratama means "Stray Soul" in Japanese.

Yurano (ユラノ, Yurano)
Voiced by: Megumi Toyoguchi, Miki Nagasawa (Episode 55)
Yurano is a female feline-like Magenta colored Cocotama who is born from the Swings of an abandoned playground, and is referred to as the "Swing Goddess". The leader of the Straytama Trio, Yurano is very bossy in terms of personality as well as being prideful and skilled. She harbors hatred towards children due to the playground being neglected over the years and claimed the whole area as their territory. Yurano also likes to scold Tokumaru for his remarks and usually don't get along with Kokoro and her Cocotama friends. However, she sometimes shows her softer and caring side, one of her actions caused her to earn a Happy Star by accident.
Tokumaru (とくまる, Tokumaru)
Voiced by: Yuka Terasaki
Tokumaru is a male bird-like blue colored Cocotama who is born from the seesaw of an abandoned playground, and is referred to as the "Seesaw God". A member of the Straytama Trio, Tokumaru is very talkative and always admires Yurano for her leadership. He is also the only one who understands what Mukitetsu is saying, which he is been whispered every time he talks.
Mukitetsu (ムキテツ, Mukitetsu)
Voiced by: Tomohiro Tsuboi
Mukitetsu is a Dog-Like male teal colored Cocotama who is born from the horizontal bar of an abandoned playground, and is referred to as the "High Bar God". Also a member of the Straytama Trio, he is more of the silent type who always whispers to Tokumaru about his thoughts. He is also shown to have super strength, and is able to throw a human out of the playground with ease.

Other Cocotamas[]

Tama-Sennin (たま仙人, Tama sennin)
Voiced by: Tomohiro Tsuboi

Tama-Sennin is one of the leaders of the Cocotamas and the most oldest ever lived, who is born from a flute. He is colored gray with a long beard, wears a loincloth and wields a wooden staff. He is shown to be strict but caring, usually looking after the main group from a distance to see if they're doing good with Kokoro. It is also shown that he's very experienced in magic as a high-ranking Cocotama.

Bannosuke (バン之介, Bannosuke)
Voiced by: Makoto Tsumura

Appearing in Episode 11, he is a brown Cocotama who is born from an abacus in the Candy Store and is referred to as the "Abacus God". He makes his residence in the store where Kokoro frequently stops by to buy sweets. Shown to be good on economics and money, he is also resourceful and worries about the owner of the shop due to competition.

Dashimaki (ダシマキ)
Voiced by: Noriko Shibasaki

Appearing in Episode 24, Dashimaki is a yellow male Cocotama who is born from a study desk and is referred as the "Desk God". Making his residence in the desk owned by Kinji Narita, he once abandoned the desk when his family became rich and moved to a new mansion. Due to this, he develops hatred towards humans and joined the Straytama Trio temporarily until meeting Kokoro. However, after Kokoro convinced Kinji that he still cared about his old things, he considers to take the desk back to his new home, which Dashimaki became happy again.

Yozepp (ヨセップ, Yozeppu)

Appearing in Episode 38, Yozepp is a green male Cocotama born from Bookcase and is referred as the "Bookcase God".

Sham (シャム, Shamu)
Voiced by: Kaede Yuasa

Appearing in Episode 38, Sham is pink female Cocotama born from Chopsticks and is referred as the "Chopsticks Goddess".

Michel (ミッケル, Mikkeru)
Voiced by: Haruka Mikami

Appearing in Episode 38, Michel is purple female Cocotama born from Magnifying glass and is referred as the "Magnifying Glass Goddess".

Niche (ニーチエ, Nīche)
Voiced by: Yū Shimamura

Appearing in Episode 41, Niche is a green male Cocotama born from the encyclopedia books in the town library and is referred as the "Book God". Though boastful and full of knowledge, he is very helpful towards the people in secret as he helps with the books they need to read. He is also very knowledgeable and his knowledge on thing even outperform Oshaki's knowledge. However, he is shown to have fear of cats. His mark on his pants is a yellow book and magnifying glass.

Hotney (ホットニー, Hoittonī)
Voiced by: Noriko Shitaya

Appearing in Episode 41, Hotney is a yellow female Cocotama who is born from a Digital Medical thermometer and is referred as the "Nurse Goddess". Living in the school clinic, she serves as both doctor and nurse to the Cocotamas and is dedicated to her own work. She is very hardworking and ambitious, also a very nice girl who helps others. Her passionate side can also get the best of her sometimes when she cast her magic, indicated on her bud-shapped ears which blooms like a flower to show her true profession and passion. As the nurse and doctor, Hotney nursed back Luckytama, Melory, Geracho and Vivit to good health after they've been hit by a mysterious sickness. Her full title is "Age Age no Sage Sa-Ge no Mikoto" (あげあげのさげさげのみこと, Age Age no Sage Sa-Ge no Mikoto) and the mark on her pants is a pair of pink up and down arrows.

The movie's main protagonist and later appearing in the anime of Episode 107, Tepple is a female pink Cocotama born from a pair of that Mai once owned and is referred as the "Dance Shoes Goddess". She is very peppy and supportive towards Mai while always doing things without her notice. Just like Mai, she is also a very good dancer and sometimes dances when Melory always sing her songs. However, after Mai became depressed due to her frustration and abandoned the shoes she was born in, she became just as depressed and she wanted to how she feels by stealing her first Happy Star in the Cocotama World unnoticed from Kokoro and friends. But due to her contacting with the Sorrowful Mushroom, it soon affected her and later in the movie, made her more resentful in her actions to steal her Happy Star and spreading the mushroom around both worlds. She later realize that her owner still cared for the shoes she's born with and that change of heart destroyed the Sorrowful Mushroom in her. Her full title is "Nice Step Puru-Puru Rhythm no Mikoto" (ナイスステップ プルプルリズムのみこと, Naisu Suteppu Puru Puru Pururizumu no Mikoto) and the mark on her pants is a light blue eight note with a wing in it.

Her strictness is also precise, as shown that she has zero-tolerance on Luckytama and co. for slacking around not gathering Happy Stars. Her arrive called are "I'm always shining on you. I'm right here. I'm Tama-Shine!" (いつでもどこでもあなたを照らす、あなたのそばにたまシャイン, Itsu demo doko demo anata o terasu, anata no soba ni tama shain).

Appearing in the Episode 131, Suie is a yellow bird-like female Cocotama born from a Bicycle and is referred as the "Bicycle Goddess". She is both very happy and active, and always runs fast. But despite her cheerful demeanor, she is very saddened due to the fact that her brother Charie has ascended and now living in the Cocotama World. Her own wish is to live with him. After accidentally finding and wearing Kanna's Adult Pants, it caused a major stir in the Cocotama World, until Charie finally told her to stop. Although her actions were done because she wanted to meet with her brother again and later had a change of heart, returning the adult pants to Kanna. Her mark in her pants is a light blue wave.

Appearing in the Episode 132, Suie's older brother, he is a green bird-like male Cocotama born from a Bicycle and is refereed as the "Bicycle God". Being a hardworking big brother, he is very supportive on Suie until the day he ascended to the Cocotama World, having no choice but to leave her behind. Though he is starting to become aware about the missing pants, he is also becoming worried about her sister's actions back in the Human World. He wears a yellow-colored adult pants.

Later in the series, she showed some remorse over them and helped the Cocotamas in any situations they're facing in, finally understanding them completely.

The main human character debuting in the movie, Mai is a 5th grade student from Suzuran Elementary School. Once a dancer, she once has a passion in dancing until she quit, later being asked by Kokoro to instruct her and her friends for the upcoming town bazaar. She once owned a pair of dancing shoes, in which Tepple is born, but she forgotten about it due to her frustration in dancing and always stumble. After realizing though Kokoro that her talent is special and that she can improve upon it again, she once became determined and is able to dance again wearing her dancing shoes.
