List of anime distributed in India

The term Anime is gaining popularity in India. From 2004 to 2017, Animax India used to broadcast only anime 24/7, the channel kept airing anime targeted towards young adults to adult audiences and used to simulcast anime on the same day as Japan. Later Animax India ceased broadcasting in India.[1] Other channels such as Cartoon Network, Sonic, nick, Hungama TV, Disney channel and Marvel HQ (formerly Disney XD and Jetix) also broadcasts some form of anime on different times.[2][3]

Anime can also be viewed on Muse Asia and Ani-One Asia YouTube channel as well as streaming platforms such as bilibili, Crunchyroll, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney + Hotstar, NHK World-Japan, Voot Kids and Tubi.[4]
