List of most-followed Instagram accounts
This article is a list which contains the top 50 accounts with the most followers on the photo and video-sharing social platform Instagram.[1][2][3] As of August 2021, the most-followed individual is Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo with over 336 million followers, and the most-followed female is American singer Ariana Grande with over 262 million followers. Instagram has its own brand account on the platform, and with over 418 million followers; it is the most-followed account overall. National Geographic is the second most-followed brand account, with over 181 million followers. A total of 30 accounts have exceeded 100 million followers on the platform, with nine of those having exceeded 200 million followers.
