List of political parties in Ecuador

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article lists political parties in Ecuador.

Ecuador has a multi-party system with numerous parties, in which usually no single party has a chance of gaining power alone, so parties must work with each other to form coalition governments. However, in the current legislative assembly the PAIS Alliance has 100 deputies, which gives the party an absolute majority.[1][needs update]
