Electoral system[]
Livonia currently elects 25 of the 100 members of the Saeima using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system.[3][4] Constituency seats are allocated using the Sainte-Laguë method.[5][6] Only parties that reach the 5% national threshold compete for constituency seats (4% in 1993).[7][8][9]
