Masanari Omura (大村 真也, Ōmura Masanari, born 14 July 1984 in Komaki, Aichi, Japan[3]) is a Japanese professional footballer.

Background[]

Beginning football at the age of 10, Omura originally liked baseball better but chose football because it was more popular in his school.[2] The Japanese defender has been described as a placid person.[2]

Career[]

Australia[]

Turned out for Fraser Park FC in the Australian National Premier Leagues for the 2011 season.[1]

Philippines[]

Part of Kaya FC in the Philippines since 2011[4] after trying out on the recommendations of a Filipino at Fraser Park,[2] Omura made this debut in an ICanServe charity clash.[2] Ever since, he has been deployed as midfielder, winger, and striker as well.[2]

Formed a friendship with former Kaya captains Anton del Rosario and Aly Borromeo.[5]
