McGrath Estate Agents is an Australian residential real estate provider.[6][7][8][9] Services include residential property sales, property management, mortgage broking, auctions and real estate training.[4] McGrath Limited is a public company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).[1][6][7][9][8]

History[]

McGrath was founded in 1988 by John McGrath.[3][7][10] In the mid-1980s John McGrath started his career at Goodhope Realty in Paddington, which became McGrath Goodhope in 1988.[3][11] On 7 December 2015 McGrath became a public company and was listed on the ASX.[1][2] In 2019, McGrath had 100 offices with 66 in New South Wales, 19 in Queensland, 12 in Victoria and three in the Australian Capital Territory.[3][4] In 2019, about seven in every 10 offices were franchised and three in every 10 were company owned.[4][6]
