The Ministry of Labour, Foreign Employment and Petroleum Resources Development is the central government ministry of Sri Lanka responsible for , services and development of . The ministry is responsible for formulating and implementing national policy on labour and other subjects which come under its purview.[1] The current Minister of Labour, Trade Union Relations and Sabaragamuwa Development and State Minister of Labour and Trade Union Relations are John Senewiratne and Ravindra Samaraweera respectively.[2][3] The ministry's secretary is S. M. Gotabaya Jayaratna.[4]
