The Ministry of Power (Sinhala: විදුලිබල අමාත්යාංශය Vidulibala, Amathyanshaya; Tamil: மின்வலு அமைச்சு) is a cabinet ministry of the Government of Sri Lanka responsible for power and renewable energy. The ministry is responsible for formulating and implementing national policy on power and renewable energy and other subjects which come under its purview.[1]
The current Minister and State Minister of Solar, Wind and Hydro Power Generation Projects Development are Dullas Alahapperuma and Duminda Dissanayake respectively.[2][3] The ministry's secretary is (Ms) Wasantha Perera.[4]
