Toponym[]
Though in French this name means "burnt mountain", this toponym comes from Valdôtain Francoprovençal patois. According to Aostan botanist and scientist ,[3] the word Broillà means "made of breuils", Breuil meaning alpine marshy berm, as for Breuil in Valtournenche.
