Mycobacterium bolletii is a bacterial species of the phylum Actinobacteria and the genus Mycobacterium. It was named in honor of , a famous clinical microbiologist and taxonomist.^[1]

The type strain of M. bollettii is strain BD = CCUG 50184 = CIP 108541.

It has been proposed to reclassify M. bollettii as Mycobacterium abscessus subsp. bolletii.^[2]
