The National Hockey Super League (NSHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in Australia. It is the first ever professional ice hockey league in Australia and started start early November, 2021.[1]
The league was formally announced on the 16th of September, with three founding teams to start the league. All three teams are based in Adelaide, and all games will be played in the IceArenA. [1]

Expansion[]
In year 1, the NHSL features three teams made up of predominantly South Australian-based players but will expand to a national format next summer to showcase the best talent Australia has to offer. The National Hockey Super League has the goal to have 15 teams Australia wide by 2023.
