Northern Pacific Airways is an upcoming low-cost airline based in Anchorage, Alaska, United States that plans to commence operations in 2022. The airline is a subsidiary of , which also owns Ravn Alaska.[2] The airline plans to operate transpacific flights between North America and Asia, with a stopover at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. The airline's business model has been compared to that of Icelandair.[3] Northern Pacific will allow passengers to either quickly connect to their next flight, or to have a longer multi-day stopover at Anchorage to allow passengers to [[|tourism|sightsee]] in Alaska.[4][5]

Destinations[]

While exact routes have not been scheduled yet, the airline plans to fly to destinations such as Tokyo, Seoul, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Orlando.[4] All routes will go to or from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

Fleet[]

As of January 2022, Northern Pacific does not own any aircraft but has plans to acquire six former American Airlines Boeing 757-200 aircraft, each seating about 200 passengers, and plans to have 12 of the aircraft at launch.[1][2][6] Northern Pacific unveiled their first Boeing 757 in their livery on January 18, 2022.[7] However, the Boeing 757 hasn't been delivered.
