Orchard Boulevard station in Singapore

Orchard Boulevard MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson–East Coast line situated at the boundary of River Valley and Orchard planning areas, Singapore. It will be located on the corner of Orchard Boulevard (hence the name) and Grange Road, near Camden Medical Centre, Singapore Tourism Board headquarters in Singapore Tourism Court and Traders Hotel.[1] Expected to open in 2022, it will be located between the stations of Napier and Orchard. [1] The station will have 2 platforms, located in an island platform arrangement. Like all underground stations on the Singapore MRT, it will have full-height platform screen doors to contain air conditioning, and for safety purposes. These will be manufactured by Alstom, like all doors on the Thomson–East Coast line. There will be a mezzanine area of the station, where ticket machines, faregates, an information booth, and toilets will be located. Of the two exits this station will have, one will be built along Orchard Boulevard, with another on Grange Road next to the Tourism Court.

Contract T218 for the design and construction of Orchard Boulevard Station was awarded to KTC Civil Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd at a sum of S$143 million in May 2014. Construction started in 2014, with completion in 2022.[5]
