Orune (Sardinian: Orùne) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) north of Cagliari and about 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of Nuoro.
Orune borders the following municipalities: Benetutti, Bitti, Dorgali, Lula, Nule, Nuoro.
