Písková Lhota is a municipality and village in Mladá Boleslav District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,000 inhabitants.

It is located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south of Mladá Boleslav and 46 kilometres (29 mi) northeast of Prague.

Administrative parts[]

Village of Zámostí is an administrative part of Písková Lhota.

History[]

The first written mention of Písková Lhota is from 1398 and of Zámostí from 1361. Starý Stránov Castle was first mentioned in 1297.[2]
