Pascal Ackermann (born 17 January 1994) is a German cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Bora–Hansgrohe.[4]

Career[]

Born in Kandel, Ackermann joined the Rad-Net Rose team in 2013, and spent four seasons with the team. In August 2016 Bora–Hansgrohe announced that Ackermann would join them for the 2017 season.[5] In May 2019, he was named in the startlist for the Giro d'Italia,[6] where he won the second and fifth stages,[7][8] and became the first German rider to win the points classification in the Giro d'Italia.[9] In October 2020, he was named in the startlist for the Vuelta a España,[10] where he won the ninth and eighteenth stages.[11][12] After five seasons with Bora–Hansgrohe, Ackermann signed a two-year contract with UAE Team Emirates from the 2022 season.[13]
