Pattannur is a village in Kannur district in the Indian state of Kerala.[1] It is 4 km away from Irikkur and 7 km away from Mattanur.

Demographics[]

As of 2001 India census, Pattannur had a population of 14145 with 6977 males and 7168 females.[1]

Transportation[]

The national highway passes through Taliparamba town. Mangalore and Mumbai can be accessed on the northern side and Cochin and Thiruvananthapuram can be accessed on the southern side. The road to the east connects to Mysore and Bangalore. The nearest railway station is Kannur on Mangalore-Palakkad line. The nearest airport is Kannur International Airport at Mattanur, which is just 7 km from Pattanur.
