Paxtaobod (also spelled as Pakhta-abad, Uzbek: Paxtaobod, Пахтаобод, Russian: Пахтаабад) is a city in Andijan Region, Uzbekistan. It is the administrative center of Paxtaobod District.[2] The town population in 1989 was 18,991 people.[3]
