Ravish Desai (born 22 November 1986) is an Indian actor and model working in Bollywood and TV serials. He is known as the lead Vivaan Vatsal in Satrangi Sasural.

Personal life[]

Model turned actor, Ravish was born in Mumbai .[1][2] He has done his schooling from , Cuffe Parade. Ravish completed his graduation from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. Finally, he went on to complete his post graduation as an MBA in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai (JBIMS).

After finishing his MBA, Ravish worked as a consultant with JP Morgan Chase, Ernst and Young. One day he decided to quit all of that to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He was always fascinated by cinema during his childhood. Ravish is inspired by movies and he firmly believes in destiny and hard work. He follows book writers like Paulo Coelho and Robin Sharma. He is also trained in Karate with a Brown Belt ownership.[3]

He met his co -star actress Mugdha Chaphekar on the sets of the hit show Satrangi Sasural where they played leads. Both fell for each other and tied the knot on 14 December 2016 in Mumbai.[4]

Career[]

Ravish began his acting career by modeling for TV commercials. He has acted in many advertising films. He made his Bollywood debut as Mangesh in Horror Story. Desai played the role of Kunal Shrivastav in Star Plus' show Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi… Meri Bhabhi opposite Kanchi Kaul. He was appreciated for this role. He was also seen in an episode of 's Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Has played the lead role of Vihaan Vatsal in Zee TV's Satrangi Sasural opposite Mugdha Chaphekar and later opposite Vrushika Mehta.
