Richard Garth Henning (born October 17, 1964) is an American priest of the Catholic Church who was named auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of Rockville Centre in 2018.

Biography[]

Henning is a 1982 graduate of Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York.^[1] On May 30, 1992, Henning was ordained to the priesthood.

Auxiliary Bishop of Rockville Centre[]

Pope Francis appointed Henning auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of Rockville Centre on June 8, 2018.^[2]^[3] Henning was consecrated as a bishop on July 24, 2018.
