Robert Joseph Coyle (born September 23, 1964) is a Roman Catholic bishop serving the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre.
Biography[]
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Coyle was ordained a priest on May 25, 1991, for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre, New York City.
Auxiliary Bishop for the Military Services, USA[]
On February 11, 2013, he was named titular bishop of Zabi and auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA and was consecrated on April 25, 2013.[1][2]
Auxiliary Bishop of Rockville Centre[]
On February 20, 2018, Coyle was appointed as Auxiliary Bishop for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre and was installed on April 2, 2018.[3] On Sunday May 6, 2018, he was announced to be the incoming Pastor of the Good Shepherd Church in Holbrook, NY.
