The San Diego Guardians are a professional basketball team in San Diego, California, and members of The Basketball League (TBL).

History[]

The San Diego Guardians were founded in 2017 by Kenneth Bishop, and joined the ABA for the 2017 season.[1] The team had three successful seasons and decided to become a professional basketball team.[2]

On August 3, 2020, The Basketball League (TBL) announced the Guardians would join the league for the 2021 season.[3]
