Sharad Malhotra (born 9 January 1983) is an Indian film and television actor.[2] He is best known for his portrayal of Sagarpratap Singh in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Maharana Pratap Singh in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, Rishi Singh Bedi in Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, Raunak Singh in Muskaan and most recently Veeranshu Singhania in Naagin 5.
Personal life
He dated actress Divyanka Tripathi for seven years before breaking up in 2015.[3] He married Ripci Bhatia on 20 April 2019.[4]
Career
Malhotra started his career with India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004. He later made his acting debut in 2006 with Banoo Main Teri Dulhan where he played the role of Sagar opposite Divyanka Tripathi.[5][6] The show ended in mid-2009.[7]
In 2014, he played the lead role in Sony TV's Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap opposite Rachana Parulkar.[8] The show ended in 2015. He later participated in Box Cricket League.[9]
In 2016, Malhotra played the lead role of Rishi in the show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki.[10]
From 2018 to 2020, he portrayed Raunak Singh in Star Bharat's Muskaan.
In August 2020, he joined the cast of Naagin 5, portraying the prince of shape-shifting cheels named Veeranshu Singhania.He won many awards for his role as Veeranshu Singhania, Malhotra successfully played the role as the Grey Shaded hero.[11]
In September 2021, it was announced that he will be portraying the role of Baxi Jagabandhu in StarPlus's upcoming historical drama Vidrohi.[12]

He was also ranked number 7 in The Times Most Desirable Men on TV 2020.[13]
