Sirkan (Persian: سيركان, also Romanized as Sīrkān)[2] is a city in and the capital of Bam Pasht District, in Saravan County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,347, in 284 families.[3]

Demography[]

As of the census of 2016, there were 2,196 people and 557 families living in the town.

Education[]

Sirkan is regarded as one of the most underdeveloped regions in Iran, but the students have shown unexpected performance in Iranian University Entrance Exam.
