Suigō-Itako Bus Terminal (水郷潮来バスターミナル, Suigō-Itako Bus Terminal) is a bus terminal situated in Itako, Ibaraki in Japan. This bus terminal is used by the Kanto Railway, Keisei Bus and JR Bus Kanto and so on.

Overview[]

The bus terminal is located near Itako IC on Higashi-Kantō Expressway. This terminal was moved to the present spot in 2002, because visitors had sharply increased following Itako, Ibaraki was developed. At present, there are a lot of passengers who go to Tokyo Station or Tokyo Disney Resort.[2]

There are 5 highway bus routes (Bound to Tokyo Station, Narita Airport, Haneda Airport, Kaihin Makuhari Station, Tokyo Disney Resort and Odaiba) and two bus routes (Bound for the direction of Kashima and Namegata). As a part of Ride&Park, there is a parking area nearby the terminal.

The Iris Festival around Suigo-Itako is held in Itako, Ibaraki and Katori, Chiba between May and June every year. This festival has been held since 1952. The Suigo-Itako Ayame Park, where the festival is held, is located near this bus terminal.

There is Nobukata Station on Kashima Line, it takes 35 minutes on foot from the station to the bus terminal.

There is Itako Station on Kashima Line, it takes 40 minutes on foot from the station to the bus terminal.

There is Itako Port, it takes 50 minutes on foot from the port to the bus terminal. Passengers are able to use from this port to Tsuchiura Station by ferry.
