Syed Pīr Bādshāh (Bengali: সৈয়দ পীর বাদশাহ, Persian: سید پیر بادشاه), was a Persian language writer and Sufi of medieval Taraf in Greater Sylhet. He was a prominent member of the Bengali Muslim Syed family of Taraf. His father was Syed Shah Nuri, the son of Syed Musa who was a descendant of Syed Nasiruddin. Badshah became prominent after publishing his Persian book "Ganj-e-Taraz".[1][2]

He died in Poil Habili in modern-day Habiganj Sadar, where a dargah was built around his grave.[3] This dargah also hosts the graves of Syed Nazirul Haq, Syed Abdul Haq and Syed Jahidul Haq. In 1989, the walls and dome of the dargah became quite damaged and so a refurbishment took place.[4]
