Tarrud Rural District (Persian: دهستان تاررود) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Damavand County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,661, in 1,586 families.[1] The rural district has 25 villages. The center is in Mara.
