The Con is an American true crime television series that premiered on ABC on October 14, 2020.[1]

Produced by ABC News and narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, the series explores stories of people taken in by claims and promises that proved too good to be true, revealing how the victims were fooled and the cost of their false trust. The series also features interviews with the people caught up in the cons, victims, eyewitnesses, law enforcement and the perpetrators themselves.[2]
