"The Resurrection" is a song recorded by the American singer Lenny Kravitz and released on June 25, 1996 as the fourth and final single from his fourth studio album Circus.[1] The song was written by Kravitz and Craig Ross.[2][3]

Reception[]

A review in Spiritual Journeys: How Faith Has Influenced Twelve Music Icons stated, "The Resurrection", the album's eleventh and final track, employed a dramatic build of "Stairway to Heaven" proportions.[4] Rob Wagner of The Tech added, "The song "Resurrection" very much resembles Led Zeppelin's "Rain Song." The slow chord changes, followed by the drums kicking in, and then a faster chord rhythm is unmistakable Led Zeppelin."[5]
