Ulavi is a village in the Uttara Kannada district in the Indianstate of Karnataka.[1] Ulavi is a village about 75 kilometres (47 mi) from Karwar (via Kumbarawada) in Karnataka state, India.
Ulavi is an important center of pilgrimage for people of the Lingayat faith.[2] The temple is been served by the trust of Kittur family from past, for more than 200 years.[citation needed] The Samadhi of Channabasavanna, one of the most revered saints of the Lingayat faith lies here.
