Varena is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast of Trento. It borders the municipalities of Deutschnofen, Aldein, Tesero, Daiano and Cavalese.
