Veltrusy (Czech pronunciation: [ˈvɛltrusɪ]; German: Weltrus) is a town in Mělník District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,300 inhabitants. It is situated 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Prague.

Veltrusy Mansion

The main attraction of the town is a Baroque château Veltrusy Mansion with its large castle park and deer-park. The château is open to the public for visits.
