WXMX is a commercial mainstream rock radio station near Memphis, TN.[1] It is owned by Cumulus Media and is branded as "98.1 The Max". The station's studios are located at the Memphis Radio Group building in East Memphis, and the transmitter site is in Cordova, Tennessee.

Notable local programming included a very humorous and topical morning talk show called Drake and Zeke in the Morning. After the passing of Zeke, the show remains on the air under the name "Drake in the Morning". His show also airs on weeknights, Monday through Thursday. Much of their commentary is on local issues.

The station adopted its current format on April 1, 2005.[2]
