Washington Township is one of eleven townships in Randolph County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 2,172 and it contained 955 housing units.[3]

Washington Township was established in 1831.[4]

Geography[]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 44.43 square miles (115.1 km2), of which 44.36 square miles (114.9 km2) (or 99.84%) is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 km2) (or 0.16%) is water.[3]
