William D. Brisson (born August 18, 1946) is a Republican member of the North Carolina General Assembly, representing the state's 22nd House district, covering Bladen County and a portion of Sampson County, since 2006.[1] On October 25, 2017 Brisson announced his intention to switch from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party.[2]
During the 2016 legislative session, Brisson was one of 11 Democrats to vote in favor of HB2, the controversial "Bathroom Bill."[3]
Brisson lives in Bladen County, North Carolina.[4]
