Sights[]

The town lies on the slope of a forested lime hill, dominated by the castle tower. Because of the town's location, its many historical buildings and a unique collection of timbered houses from the 18th and 19th centuries, the town has been declared a municipal reserve and is nicknamed the Moravian Bethlehem. Nearby there is the Šipka Cave where Neanderthal child bone remnants were found.

Sport[]

Every year, the town hosts the finish of the first stage of the cycling race Gracia-Orlová. (2012 and 2013 Gracia-Orlová).
