The 1964 United States presidential election in West Virginia took place on November 3, 1964, as part of the 1964 United States presidential election. West Virginia voters chose seven^[2] representatives, or electors, to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president.

West Virginia was won by incumbent President Lyndon B. Johnson (D–Texas), with 67.94% of the popular vote, against Senator Barry Goldwater (R–Arizona), with 32.06% of the popular vote.^[3][4] As of the 2020 presidential election, this is the last election in which the Democratic candidate won Berkeley County, Wood County, Preston County, Upshur County, and Doddridge County. Johnson's 538,087 votes is the highest total received by a Democratic presidential candidate in the state's history.
